  • Have excess inner labia skin that protrudes past their outer labia
  • Experience pinching or discomfort due to excess labia tissue

Average is 2 to 3 days; many women undergo the procedure on a Thursday or Friday and return to work or school the following Monday, although some women take off no time

  • Return immediately to non-strenuous activities which do not raise your heart rate or blood pressure, and won’t result in breaking into a sweat
  • Resume strenuous activities in 2 weeks, although activities involving extreme or rapid thigh motion should be avoided for at least 4 weeks
  • Resume sexual activity in 4 weeks

  • You may shower 24 hours after surgery
  • There are no stitches to remove
