What it is:

Removal of loose/sagging forehead skin to lift drooping eyebrows

  • People with excess skin on their forehead and drooping eyebrows
  • People who feel that heavy brows make them look tired or angry

* 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the type of browlift

Local, sedation, or general, depending on the type of browlift

Average is 1 week or less; while it is possible to return to work or school in less than a week, you may have bruising around your eyes (black eyes)

  • Return immediately to non-strenuous activities which do not raise your heart rate or blood pressure, and won’t result in breaking into a sweat
  • Resume strenuous activities in 2 weeks

If drooping eyebrow skin is blocking your vision, an eye doctor will test your vision to determine if surgery is medically necessary and therefore covered by insurance

  • You may shower 24 hours after surgery
  • Stitches will be removed 1 week after surgery

* Times may vary since each case is unique
